Morata and Witsel, absent in Atlético training

Neither the Spaniard, as a precaution, nor the Belgian due to tonsillitis, have exercised, but neither is at risk of missing the league debut

After yesterday's double session, Atlético de Madrid returned to training with their sights set on next Monday's league debut against Getafe. Now that Oblak has recovered from his discomfort, Rodrigo de Paul joined the rest of the group today. The Argentine has left behind the blow he suffered at the Carranza and has trained as one more.

That is the positive part of a session in which Simeone has not been able to count on Morata or Witsel , the two sensations of the preseason. The striker suffered a crash yesterday and has not exercised as a precaution, while the Belgian has been out due to tonsillitis. Wass also did not exercise for personal reasons. The three have joined the absences of Giménez and Felipe who remain outside the group.

Cholo has tried in the eleven with the same players , except for the absent Morata and Witsel, who defeated Juventus in Turin. Saúl has played as left lane, Matheus Cunha has occupied the place left by Morata and Marco Moreno has replaced Witsel in the axis of defense.

The Spanish central defender was not the only youth squad player, Sergio Díez, Carlos Martín, Alberto Moreno and Joel Ngoya also took part in today's session, the last one until the weekend. Tomorrow the squad has a day off and will not return to training until Saturday afternoon.
