GLENBURN - Sunday afternoon the Single Elimination Rounds began for the Glenburn Rec's 3rd/4th grade girls tournament at the Glenburn Elementary School, and after two semifinal games were played it was the Gardiner Tigers who came out on top to claim the 2022 Glenburn Rec Championship. This was the second consecutive Glenburn Rec 3/4 tournament (2020 and 2022) that was won by Gardiner. The Glenburn Rec's second of four tournaments got underway Saturday morning with the 3rd/4th grade girls grabbing the spotlight on February 26th and 27th at the Glenburn Elementary School. The tournament consists of eight teams divided into two Pools. In Pool A is Presque Isle, Gardiner, Maranacook and Hermon. Pool B teams are host team Glenburn, Oceanside, MDI and Belfast.
