Hampden softball with a solid 8-0 win over Messalonskee
HAMPDEN – The Hampden softball team scored three in the third, two more in the fourth and three again in the fifth on their way to an 8-0 win. While in the circle she just merely pitched a two hit shutout complete game with three walks and 13 strikeouts. Hampden had 13 hits in the game. Along with Masterson other hitters were, Allee Wellman, (single, run, rbi); Maya Brown (2 singles, run); Cam Neal (single); Meaghan Delahanty (single, rbi); Callie Small (2 singles, run); Emma Chute (double, 2 runs); and Charlee Chute (2 singles, 2 runs, rbi).
