This was the second win of the season for Class B Brewer boys over Class A Bangor. On April 25, the Witches took home a 7-6 win over the Rams.

Brewer goes to 5-2 on the season with the win and will next travel to Lawrence on May 17 for a 5 p.m.game.

Bangor falls to 3-4 with the loss. Next up is Brunswick on May 17, at home.

Most of this game was Brewer #13 and Bangor #13 battling to see who was going to carry their team to the win. In the end it was Brewer's Ryder Goodwin with a game high seven goals. Cole Dumond added four goals, and Aiden Davis with two.

For Bangor their #13, Cooper Ireland had a team high five goals in this game. Miles Randall added three goals, Jack Johnson three goals and Keith Brooks one.

Brewer keeper Wyatt McIntyre and Bangor Keeper Ty Walker, despite the score, were outstanding making many great saves on some very hard thrown balls.

Both #13s are big guys, with some decent speed, a lot of quickness, and a great understanding of the game. Both Goodwin and Ireland make the players around them better every day. One cannot really stop either of them, you can just hope to contain them both.
