Bronco Travel Basketball Club 7/8 girls tournament

 HAMPDEN – The Bronco Travel Basketball Club opened its third and last tournament of the 2022 season this past weekend. The weekend featured 12  seventh and eighth grade teams from around the state as well as a few local teams.  Click on the link to see all the photos. Gardiner Tigers take home Glenburn Rec 3rd/4th grade girls Championship

GLENBURN - Sunday afternoon the Single Elimination Rounds began for the Glenburn Rec's 3rd/4th grade girls tournament at the Glenburn Elementary School, and after two semifinal games were played it was the Gardiner Tigers who came out on top to claim the 2022 Glenburn Rec Championship. This was the second consecutive Glenburn Rec 3/4 tournament (2020 and 2022) that was won by Gardiner. Glenburn Rec 3/4 girls tournament gets underway

The Glenburn Rec's second of four tournaments got underway Saturday morning with the 3rd/4th grade girls grabbing the spotlight on February 26th and 27th at the Glenburn Elementary School. The tournament consists of eight teams divided into two Pools. In Pool A is Presque Isle, Gardiner, Maranacook and Hermon. Pool B teams are host team Glenburn, Oceanside, MDI and Belfast. On Saturday, February 26 the Glenburn Rec 3rd/4th grade girls tournament got underway, and will conclude Sunday afternoon with two semifinal games and a championship game.  (Photo by Skip Hawkes/MSR) Saturday is pool play for all eight games, and pool play continues Sunday morning with four additional games. Sunday afternoon the Single Elimination Round begins with two semifinal games to determine the championship game match up. 3-4th Grade girls to hit the hardwood in Glenburn

GLENBURN - On Saturday, February 26 and 27th, the Glenburn Rec will host their second of four basketball tournaments as the 3rd/4th grade girls take to the floor at the Glenburn Elementary School gym. The tournament will feature eight teams from around the state, which include host team Glenburn, Presque Isle, Gardiner, Maranacook, Hermon, Oceanside, MDI, and Belfast.  The Gardiner Tigers pose for a team photo after winning the 3rd/4th grade Glenburn Rec tournament Championship in 2020. Pool A consists of Presque Isle, Gardiner, Maranacook, and Hermon. Pool B is Glenburn, Oceanside, MDI and Belfast.
